Our Team
Jessica Weir
Jess has been with RADAR since 2015 and has been in the position of President for four years. She also heads up our Media Relations and Fund Raising Committees.
Jess mainly fosters our medium to large breed dogs but is able to take in chickens, lambs and anything else needing a home, when there is room for them.
Jess and her family live on a little farm with their resident animals - four chickens; Princess Laya, Kylo Hen, ChewBurrka & Hen Solo, three horses; Kevin, Aribaa & Topsy. Three dogs; Henry, Delta & Loki. Two Cats; Sgt Tibbs and Rip (both foster fails) and Two Fish; Jefferson and Patches.
Liss Prior
Liss has stepped into the Secretary Position on our Committee this year as well as being our Rabbit and small creatures carer.
Liss and her family have three dogs; Addy, Shine & Raylene and three cats; Cinders, Snowball and Sammy.
Millie Bell
Millie has joined the committee this year holding the Treasurers position, in addition to her foster care duties as one of our kitten carers.
Millie has been invaluable in nursing sick kittens back to health. Most recently, saving three particularly vulnerable kittens and overseeing their recoveries until they reached the point of being able to be rehomed.
Millie has two Domestic Short Haired cats named Macicka and Naomi (foster fail).
Brooke Neville
Brooke primarily fosters our small breed dogs and sits on our Media Relations and Fund-Raising Committee’s.
Brooke’s creativity and skills have lead to successful fundraising efforts such as our clay polymer paw print earrings.
Brooke and her family live on a small property with their resident animals - Three dogs; Sooty, Benji and Missy (Foster fail) and their three horses.
Sarah Rasmussen
Sarah one of our Cat & Kitten Carers as well as an invaluable help with our Social Media content creation, predominantly our Instagram.
Sarah and her family have three dogs; Kojak, Chevy & Muppet. One cat; Sunday and numerous tropical fish.
Carla Thomas
Carla is one of our Cat & Kitten Carers.
Carla specialises in Mums & Kittens. She has put considerable time and effort into creating a enriching, safe environment for her fosters, above and beyond expectations that cater to all age ranges and temperaments of her fosters, particularly ones needing a little more time and space to trust humans.
Carla has a Chihuahua named Taro and a cat named Bug.
Jodie Minister
Jodie volunteers on our Fund-Raising Committee and is a regular face at all our events, such as Paws & Pints and Walk 4 RADAR.
Jodie and her family have two resident dogs; Bookend and Hudson.
Teleah Ross
Teleah is apart of our Fund-Raising Committee and her and her husband, Tom are Medium to Large Breed Dog Carers. They have a passion for training and working through ‘challenging’ behaviours and rebuilding trust with abused and neglected dogs from across our region.
Teleah and her family have three dogs; Dixie, Coco & Bailey.
